Submerged in Thoughts

Submerged
Thoughts fly around my head
Floating
in a stream of white foam
The warmth of the water envelops
lets the ideas grow
What shall I do?
The view of the future reappears
and so does the horror
loneliness
helplessness
The days go by fast
There aren't many left
Should I treasure each moment?
Or should i keep my distance?
The choices are endless
Yet they all bring about the same end

He will leave soon.

My heart leaps in the warmth of the water
How can I deal with this?
No answer comes to me
Nothing
It's a never ending cycle

Nothing can be done.

Emerged
I take a breath
I attempt to forget these thoughts
I lie there
With the haunting ideas still imprinted
I wait
Untill the water turns cold
